Concert Promoter Reiad Subrati is putting on an amazing Soca show in Jackson N.J. at the Six Flags Amusment park. Jim Maguire is Making his Mark

This Saturday Feb 23rd we are tossing a Big Bash for Jim Maguire of Into the Whip records.......all the bands from the record company will stop by The Rail (2 coleman square Howard Beach NY 11414) and perform and party with the only guy who can keep up with Kieth Richards......Gentleman Jim Maguire!

Melvin Sparks and Worange Drexler

Every now and then I join Mike D and his band Drexler for a few tunes live. Tomorrow we are opening for Acid/Jazz legend Melvin Sparks (see right) @ Sullivan Hall in NYC....should be a groove filled evening.....I'm going to sit back and enjoy the music....That's what I have been doing alot lately............You should come hear this cat (Melvin)......good for your head.

It's never too late for Carnival

I have a new Soca track coming out tomorrow. It is my first one in a long time. Timbaland's track Socatized by Jusbus. I got to sing once again with the incredibly talented and beautiful Alison Hinds. The track also features newcomer Trevor. Jusbus is an amazing new producer who is making some big waves in Caribbean music. I love Soca music.....it lets me have fun through song like I used to.... cheers to the whole Soca nation !!!!!

I See the Light

I have a few things in ready for 2008. I have an all acoustic record ready to go for Spring and I'm appearing on Mike D's Worange Drexler C.D. I wrote some tracks for the record and co-wrote some with Mike......It is a nice change and the light at the end of the bar is bright. Letting Go.....make music easy.

Bar-Humbug Live

The legend of Bar-Humbug continues to grow....After the album came out in 2003 we have always managed to raise money every year after for Cancer programs. Me,Eddy Joe,Dan-Nice,Rob Rizzo and Mike Devellis will be performing the entire C.D. live @ The Harbor Light in Bell Harbor Rockaway Beach. It is not often you get to meet and hang with your hero....Terry Reid is one of my all-time favorite singer/songwriters and is a huge inspiration to me.....got to trade tales @ B.B.King's when he performed there........all the best to a great guy!

Friend in Need Concert.

I want to thank Geoff Unger,Mike Devellis,Dan Cuniff and Eddy McCabe for donating their talent to help raise money for a friend in need. The whole day was a success. Go check out Symptom 7 and Worange Drexler they are great bands who do the right thing.

The Big A

Aqueduct Racetrack is a place I've spent ton of time and money.I'm in a tunnel that runs under the stretch here. The place is in trouble, nobody knows what is going to happen to the joint....but is in the hands of the politicians......and remember "Horses don't bet on people and neither do I"
