Loser Wins!

I'm going to perform some of my songs at the New York Independent Film and Video Festival Award night. I'm glad to have won, but what I'm really happy about is being able to sing at the show. I have come to realize awards,money and recognition are all nice but only a live audience moves me to write, sing and complain............I hope when the day comes...that I die mid song........Thaddeus and I should get awards for pretending to be bartenders from Howard Beach for all those years.....all my best to you Thad-Rock!

What do you get when you mix Walker and the Brotherhood of the Grape with Indaculture?..... I'll be doing a few mix and match shows this summer with these guys. Danny (Melvin) will be playing guitar at some shows here he is (on the left)with Indaculture when we played in Puerto Rico. Bobby Butler,Jenna and Danny also perform with Daha...you should give them a listen too....Well we are playing an acoustic gig to set off Memorial Day weekend this Sat night @ The Harbor Light in Rockaway...Lets get cooking......

Zabrocki is Polish for "Really good guitarist"

Ron Zabrocki has been the most important musician in my career, He has recorded and performed live and onstage with every project I have ever been apart of(except for the Soca). His friendship and knowledge enabled me to produce music in the darkest time of my life. He is going to come out this weekend to the Rail and Jam. He has been a great friend to many musicians throughout the years....come and hear his wizardry and have 3 fingers of vodka neat.

Drexler,Jason Crosby and Handball

Robert Randolph's keyboard player Jason Crosby had a night of funk music @ Ace of Clubs. The bands on the bill were some of the most amazing players in the Big Apple.....I sat in with Jason and The gents from Drexler....good times had by all....I hope we all do it again soon

Best Music in a Film NYC 2008!

The NY Film Festival announced the winners of the festival for 2008....Walker and The Brotherhood of the Grape won (best music in a feature film)....Thaddeus Schneider as (best actor) both for their work in Steven Bozga's "Love Like Blood"....The film will now go to the Los Angeles film Festival and then hopefully Steven,Thaddeus and I can all collaborate on a film with a nice budget.......this some good news in an otherwise lousy month..Go see for yourself www.nyfilmvideo.com Got to keep pushing forward....Don't look back...W

New York Dolls

Me,Thad-Rock and Maguire saw the New York Dolls at The Stone Pony. In the late 80's I sang with the late great Johnny Thunders at some jams in NYC. Here is Me and Thaddeus with Bob Gruen a New York legend responsible for The Dolls bio/film and photographer of every single band worth mentioning from NYC. He took the picture of John Lennon in the I Love NY tee...with the peace sign up.....enough said.
