Labor Day Jam @ The Rail 2 Coleman Square Howard Beach N.Y. 11414 9pm till ? Into the Whip Records is hosting a jam session with all of the musicians. Special guest percussion player Ernesto Garcia(above) will sit in with Me(walker),Eddy Joe,BMWA,Ed the Ace,Geoff Unger and many more.....All styles of music will be performed....come down and welcome Ernesto....have a few cocktails....you know the routine.

The setting sun

The sun sets on my music. I used to pour wine into my head with blank men, failed men who remained unafraid in the dirty side streets of New York City......Now I'm just a colorless cut out of my potential......I think I'll vanish for a while....into Hemingway,Fante,Bukowski and a few hundred trips to the Racetrack....you can keep it...whatever the hell it is.

I was watching T.V. last night and saw a documentary on The Planet of the Apes. I was a huge fan when I was a kid.....and man did I have a crush on actress Linda Harrison......I guess I still do...I'm writing about it.....can you blame me?

Mugger,Fred and Charlie

"We are all here to go"...... and some, way too soon. This year we lost my cousin John "Mugger" Hornung and Fred Stelloh...who were two of the best guys in the whole world. They both we're icons in H.B. and their goodness and charity will be missed severely.....It is hard to imagine performing and not seeing one of them in the audience....they both we're the best kind of friend a guy could have....Charlie Munga (who died a few years back)...must have been lonely..Somewhere there are a bunch of classic cars being repaired and driven fast with "Metal" on the radio's cranked to 11!

42nd street and Broadway

Here are a few pics from the NYC film award show in Times Square. Vinnie Stigma from Agnostic Front was on hand to give me my award for best original song in a feature film. I performed with Mike D and it was a good get together. Thaddeus got his award too. In spite of all this good stuff, I feel nuttier than squirrel shit.

Old magic still strong

Machel is the ring leader of this circus....I'm glad I can still get on the high wire! It seems like the time is right for something new from the 2 of us....12,000 people can't be wrong...Machel's music is true underground alt-music.....don't get mad at yourself because you thought the Strokes were doing something new.....someday you will get it....like the NYU student who just put up the Marley poster!

Los Angeles Film Fest

L.A. film fest and the West coast showing of "Love like Blood"................so much happened in a short amount of time. Dick Van Dyke was a gentleman and it seems that Thaddeus and I were what Willis was talking about!

Hollywood Hornung

We took care of NYC....now let's see what the west coast has in store for us. Soca Saved My Life

"Soca and Me" is a collection of some of the Soca music I've made over the past ten years.When I first did "With or Without You" with the multi-talented king of Soca Machel Montano...I had just been let go from my Rock record company.I went to Trinidad that year and Machel and Xtatik allowed me to perform with them. The music, energy and love of the Caribbean music fan gave me the inspiration to get back into the studio and form The Brotherhood of the Grape.This Saturday I'll be performing with Machel @ 6 flags N.J. it has been almost 10 years to the day since we first sang the song in Trinidad and enjoyed a Stag beer @ Smokey and Bunty after the show. Machel has given me opportunities beyond my dreams and I've said it before i'll say it again............Trinidad....you are blessed.

Terry Reid @ B.B. King's?

We ran into Terry and his Manager in Westbury. I told them "how about letting me open for Terry @ B.B. King's when your in town again........?" we will see. Terry Reid is a great Singer/songwriter and an all around good guy. I had a little rock and roll career of my own.....together we could shake the walls!
