The legend of Bar-Humbug continues to grow....After the album came out in 2003 we have always managed to raise money every year after for Cancer programs. It is not often you get to meet and hang with your hero....Terry Reid is one of my all-time favorite singer/songwriters and is a huge inspiration to me.....got to trade tales @ B.B.King's when he performed there........all the best to a great guy!

Friend in Need Concert.

I want to thank Geoff Unger,Mike Devellis,Dan Cuniff and Eddy McCabe for donating their talent to help raise money for a friend in need. The whole day was a success. Go check out Symptom 7 and Worange Drexler they are great bands who do the right thing.

The Big A

Aqueduct Racetrack is a place I've spent ton of time and money.I'm in a tunnel that runs under the stretch here. The place is in trouble, nobody knows what is going to happen to the joint....but is in the hands of the politicians......and remember "Horses don't bet on people and neither do I"

I haven't done a show in a long time....crawling out from under my rock to celebrate Jimmy Dowd's Birthday. He is now and has always been my biggest supporter throughout my entire roller coaster of a career. Everybody is welcome to come...he is one of the good guys! See you at The Rail.

Worange Drexler

Mike D(alto-sax). has invited me out to sing with his band a few times now....the response has been overwhelming. The Band... Worange Drexler is a Soul/Funk group with all-stars in every position. I feel really comfortable singing with these cats....I'm hoping we can do some original work in the future. Go check them out on Myspace and at Pockit Records.....

Johnnie Walker

My Great Uncle Johnnie Walker was a silent screen actor. Talk about guts and a sense of adventure.....this must have been one smooth talking cat. I heard some classic tales from relatives about him.....He drove a Rolls but never had a dime.....I'm glad this blood is flowing around in me.

Rockaway Last Show in 2007

This weekend i'll be performing at The Harbor Light in Rockaway Beach it will be the last show I do untl I finish some new material (Rock and Soca C.D's)......It is time for some major changes...I'm ready, I'm not scared....you should be.

Ron Zabrocki to record next C.D.

I'm locked and loaded with a shitload of new tunes. Longtime friend and Producer Ron Zabrocki and I are going to start the 4th BOTG C.D. July 7th. It will hopefully be ready to go before Christmas.........Ron to the rescue!

Soca/Reggae Cruise on May 12th. I'm not performing just going to hang out. Collie Buddz will be the host,look forward to meeting him,I missed the chance at M.S.G. Time Plus Beats is a T.V/Internet show hosted by Junior George it promotes local Soca/Reggae artists as well as the big guns.....give a listen.....come on the cruise!

My friend Kim is a true original...she did this picture of me from the "One and Lonely" days. I had a great idea the other day....I'm going to enjoy my life. I am going to write songs, record them. I've lost a lot of friends lately....in many differnet ways....that is the way the bee bumbles...fuck it.

Tonight Soca will officially arrive. Machel is the talk of the town and I'm looking forward to contribute to this Xtatik evening. Come out and celebrate music,life and our brief time on Earth.......Bring flags!

Shaggy coming to Garden Party!

Shaggy was just added to the concert at Madison Square Garden. I performed with Shaggy,Red Rat,Machel,Spragga and many others before.....but this show is going to be the exclamation point .....SOCA !!!!!!!!

Walker Joins Machel at Historic Soca Show!

I told you in the previous post that Machel Montano HD is bringing his energetic show to the Theater at Madison Square Garden, I was asked to come and perform the songs that we recorded together.....this is a must see event for anyone who has seen my bands Q-South and The Brotherhood of the Grape...it is a completely different show....don't wait go get a ticket...you will not be disappointed......I don't get the opportunity to say "Thank You" enough to Brent Toussaint who back in the day had the musical vision to bring us both together for our initial Soca recordings!

Machel at M.S.G.

Machel Montano is celebrating 25 years in the music business. He is performing at the theatre at Madison Square Garden in March. This is a milestone for Soca music and a great accomplishment for him. I worked with him for many years and we sang our duets on massive stages all over the world...all because of his talent and the amazing musicianship of Xtatik.I just wanted to wish Machel,G.B.,D.Levy,and The Xtatik family great success on this particular occasion. The Brotherhood in Puerto Rico

The Brotherhod of the Grape live in Rincon Puerto Rico Feb 9th through the 12th. I'll be playing live with Rockaway's own Indaculture. It is Carnival week...so i decided to spread the vibe into Puerto Rico. Jimmy Dowd from St.James Clothing will be on-hand to film the surfers and get some new footage for his next film...go get your tickets!

Howard Beach

This is Smitty's in Old Howard Beach N.Y. I was born around the corner from this bar in 1969. I worked there,drank there and performed there too many times to count. My birthday is coming up and I just feel like singing...it is all I can do and really all I ever could do...I would have sang at Smitty's but it is gone.....so I'm going around the corner to The Rail...I'm going to sing...I have to. It is all that is left.
