It is that time of year...."Bar-Humbug" will be performed Dec 19th 2009 @ The Harbor Light 130th street and Newport Ave in Belle Harbor N.Y. showtime 10pm this will be the first time we reunite Ron Z and the Queens Bar-All Stars.....come out and help us raise some money to fight Cancer....all you have to do is come and listen to music...pretty easy? R.I.P. Mickey Hornung 11/24/09

My Brother Mickey helped make me the musician I am today. He was a wonderful singer/writer/sax player his kind and giving nature was felt by so many. May he rest in peace

Help save "Bar-Humbug"

"Bar-Humbug" needs your Help and Quick! In 2003 Me(walker),The Brotherhood and Ron Zabrocki got together and recorded this C.D. for a friend who was ill with Cancer(our dear friend Fran Murray).the C.D. was sold and money rasied was given to charity every year.Last year we ran out of the 2nd printing.If 100 copies are not purchased before Nov 1st we will not be able to print more C.D.'s and rasie money for Cancer this Christmas.The C.D. can be purchased digitally(download) and C.D.(delivery definately 1 week before Christmas) We are counting on you.I'm not a business man only a musician if the C.D. is not ordered by Nov 1st we will not have any to sell this year. Woodstock 94

It is the anniversary of the original Woodstock concert in 1969. In 1994 my old band Q-South played the 25th concert, we went on before Melanie and Richie Havens that year and we performed on a day that was very similar to the original event....all the good vibes and music in the air.

My nephew James Ruffino is a wonderful songwriter and his new band "Thieves by Night" just recorded some material that he wrote and plays guitar on. He is continuing the tradition started by my brother Mickey that was then done by me and now, I'm happy to say in the hands of James....forever forward kid!

Mother

My Mother Anne Walker Hornung and my brother John. Too much to remember and too hard to forget the both of them but I'm remembering all that my Mother did to make my life a little easier and happier. I sit here and write in hope, that somehow she can understand what she meant to me.

Time...

I still dress the same, but plenty has changed. I'm working on a new C.D. and I'm going back to my roots...It is important to remember who you are and where you come from....and to salute those who have made the journey with you......this next one will define my otherwise pointless existence....count on it.

This is Eddy Joe McCabe....The coolest guy I have ever known. He is a good friend,musician and husband. Tonight is his birthday and I got together the guys from The Brotherhood and Rock Legend Terry Reid and with David Kramer and Lori Promotions we are throwing a fucking event to end all events @ Mirelle's 170 Post ave Westbury L.I. tonight! Eddy Joe will be doing what he does best playing his Bass...loud and solid and providing fun for everybody within 100 feet of him.......If you stay home to watch T.V. don't wonder why your life sucks during the week.
