1st Gig Live from Fitzgerald's in Rockaway Beach

In 1976 I wrote my first tune "Gold in the City" with Joe "Skins"Brady. Joe took this photo on the left. Our first rehearsal was tough because we sucked, but we ended up playing a real gig at Fitzgerald's in Rockaway Beach 1984. Joe"Skins"Brady is on the kit in the picture on the right the band was called Wire! Joe now plays on Broadway, I play with myself!

You know, I could have sworn there was a third influence for Walker's first song ever penned, Gold in the City. Who was that masked man? And why doesn't he get props? Not even a "thank you" in a CD liner note! Perhaps he'll only be as famous as Pete Best!
